Ring size measurement

1. If possible, find out your size/sizes at a jewellery store.

2.You can also measure the diameter of a ring that fits you well with millimeter precision (of course, consider whether you will wear the new ring on the same finger!).

3. If you want to determine the ring size at home:

  • Prepare a string or a strip of paper 0.5 cm wide and 10 cm long.

  • Wrap the paper strip or string around the finger where you intend to wear the ring. Make sure the paper strip/string is snug but not too tight. You should be able to comfortably remove and put it on.

  • Mark the point where the paper or string overlaps with a pen. Measure the length of the marked strip in millimeters.

  • Divide this length by 3.14. The resulting number is your ring size (inner diameter of the ring in millimeters).

Additional tips: Repeat the measurement on different days, as finger size may vary depending on temperature (for example, on a hot summer day or after intense activity, fingers often swell slightly). Also, keep in mind that very wide rings may fit tighter than narrower ones, so consider the possibility of purchasing such a ring 0.5 size larger.
